Dr. Gordon Fullerton

Gordon Fullerton holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, an MBA from Dalhousie University and B.Comm. from Mount Allison University. Before joining the Sobey School of Business in 2000, he held appointments at Acadia University in Nova Scotia and Mount Allison University in New Brunswick.   He has also taught in the B.Comm and MBA-ST programs at the Queen’s Business School.

Currently, he is the acting Associate Dean for Masters Programs at the Sobey School of Business.  He has taught in most Sobey programs including the B.Comm., MBA, MBA-CMA and E-MBA programs.  He has supervised student MRPs in both the MBA and E-MBA programs and MCPs in the MBA program.

Dr. Fullerton’s research lies mainly in the areas of services marketing and relationship marketing. His current research projects investigate the effects of strong relationships on consumer willingness to recommend their partner to other customers and the effects of strong relationships on consumer willingness to pay more for services. He has published in a number of journals including the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, the Journal of Service Research, the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services and the European Journal of Marketing. His research has also appeared in the conference proceedings of the American Marketing Association, the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada and the Atlantic Schools of Business Conference.
