Cdr David Peer
CD, PEng

David Peer is a Naval Officer on secondment as the Defence Fellow at Dalhousie University's Centre for Foreign Policy Studies. He has held a number of posts in the navy in Halifax, at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa, and with the Ministry of Defence in the UK on exchange. Prior to joining the Centre David was the navy's chief Naval Architect. He has postgraduate degrees from UNB, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and King's College London.

David has served as a Lay Reader since 1995 in the Anglican Church in Canada and the Church of England. He is now studying at the Atlantic School of Theology.
